Class 37 for Moss Bank Park Railway
For something to do (03/02/2024), I am refurbishing a Class 73 diesel outline for Moss Bank Park Railway. The bogeys and chassis having already been done and completely rewired.
March 2024 - To finish the story of the restoration of our Class 73, a photo of the finished loco is below. It is at the Moss Bank station on it's first trials and ran for 3 hours hauling up to eight passengers at a time for over three hours without any issues. There are some cosmetic scale details missing but we have to decide how much to fit. It is intended as a back up loco only, so we may decide not to fit them all.
